Starting Avénu Hair Extension Training was something I built from genuine passion and years of hands-on experience within the hair industry. With 17 years in hairdressing, I’ve been lucky enough to turn what I love into a career that allows me not only to create beautiful transformations for clients, but also to help others build confidence and success within the industry too.

My journey began with global training through TONI&GUY, where I developed the strong technical foundation and attention to detail that still shape my work today. Over the years, I’ve also been honoured to receive award recognition through Wella, something I’m incredibly proud of as it reflects the dedication and care I put into my work.

Hair extensions have been a huge part of my career for over 10 years, and they’re still something I do day in, day out with a loyal and extensive client base. Because I actively work within the industry every day, I’m able to teach techniques, trends, and realistic salon knowledge that students can genuinely take into the real world with confidence.

Alongside building my business, I recently completed my teaching degree with the University of Huddersfield, which allowed me to combine practical industry experience with professional teaching skills. Creating a supportive, welcoming, and confidence-building learning environment is something that means a lot to me, because I know first-hand how important it is to feel encouraged while learning something new.

At Avénu, my aim is to make every student feel comfortable, inspired, and fully supported throughout their training journey. Whether you’re completely new to hair extensions or wanting to expand your existing skills, my goal is to help you leave not only with qualifications, but with real confidence in your ability and your future within the industry.
